Classic motorcycles restored in India

I made this film in 1998. Looking for a classic British motorbike? Take a trip to India to find a cornucopia of motor cycles from the past. From piles of old motor bikes and spare parts in a back street of Delhi, classics reappear such as Triumph, BSA, Velocette, Vincent, Matchless, AJS, Royal Enfield and Ariel. I had such fun making this little film in 1998. The shop is quite hard to find in a maze of back streets, but a crowd of little kids gleefully shouting "motorbike man" soon led me to it. Having tea with the owner, I learned that his sister had a shop just up the road from where I had until recently lived in London, England - quite a coincidence. Finally, he insisted on taking me back to my hotel on the pillion of a Norton with my camera bag and tripod on my shoulders, snaking through the Delhi traffic - aargh!
